FLORENCE POP-UP AT TITIRANGI COMMUNITY HOUSE

Florence the mobile mending van and Sally the tailor and general garment gal are so looking forward to “setting up shop” in the carpark at Titirangi Community House on Friday October 23.

From 9am to 3pm, we’ll be available to see customers for fittings, wardrobe-health-check consults, offer a bit of repair and alteration advice, and even sew on a missing button for FREE!

WHAT’S ON OFFER

• Bring in one or a whole a bunch of clothes you’re not wearing but would love to reinvent or wear again with Sally’s help. You’ll have a fitting in the van (yes, there is a wee changing room) and Sally will take them away to the Westmere base, to be returned or picked up within 2 weeks. • Courtesy of Titirangi Community House, get a button sewn back on to a garment you’re not wearing.
• For a gold coin donation, have a few minutes getting repair or alteration advice so you can go away and work on your own project
