SATURDAY AT THE SHOPS

This Saturday Florence the van will park up at the bustling Westmere shops* so it’s even easier to save your clothes.

Pop your repairs, alterations and ideas for redesign or upcycling in a bag and come see Sally and Florence the mobile mending van before or after you head to the popular Westmere shops.

At these street mending sessions, it’s a great opportunity to drop off, try on and chat about getting the best from garments you already have.

*Please note that if the weather is wet and windy, we’ll most likely stay at the 2/2 Rawene Ave base, just round the corner.*

• zip replacements, done ideally with one of our deconstructed zips
• hemming of all types
• split seam fixes
• button and buttonhole sewing
• tailored jacket re-sizing in full or part
• Coat-to-jacket redesign
• Dress-to-skirt redesign
• wool and jersey hole repair
• evening dress hem and/or neckline redesign
• wedding and bridal gown alteration discussions
• jeans patching – inside leg, back and crotch seam
